Working to create better relationships between pup and partner!
Head Trainer/Owner
Aishlyn Skoczylas
My introduction to dog training began with my first dog, Noir. In an effort to improve my fearful dog's confidence and behavior, I embarked on a journey that would lead me to where I am today. The training methods I grew up with relied on dominance and fear tactics, which only made Noir's issues worse and damaged our relationship. While I have worked all across the pet industry, from pet stores and pet sitting to shelters and veterinary clinics, it was my experiences working under other dog trainers where I found my calling. From my first mentor to my most recent, Tina Spring (Sit Happens Dog Training & Behavior), I found my niche in relationship based dog training. I have learned that when I focused on instilling trust in my dogs, I could lead them through their uncertainties and reach even higher levels of obedience in a fun and exciting way. Today it is my goal to impart the knowledge I've gained on others and improve the relationships of dogs and their owners and helping each partnership reach their dog training goals.
The Pack
Each of my personal dogs can serve a purpose for your pup when training. For reactive dogs, a well trained, neutral dog is a great resource when training. For puppies, a gentle dog who can help teach proper social interaction can sometimes be just as useful as training itself.
